Denis Corey, 72, passed away at his residence on March 24, 2025. Denis was born on July 22, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio to Paul & Marie Corey, who preceded him in death. He graduated in 1970 from Padua Franciscan High School and attended Ohio State University. Denis was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin. He is survived by his sister, Janet Corey Hawk; brother, David Corey (Kimberly) and uncle to Logan Walker; Matthew Hawk (Katie); Ashton Walker; Mark Hawk (Veronica) and his many loving cousins. His love for all things Cleveland included his beloved Browns, Indians (he had a hard time calling them Guardians) and Cavaliers. And he despised the phrase, "Mistake on the Lake." An avid reader, he will be remembered for his big (yet faulty) heart and his deep sense of loyalty. Even though he didn't have much, he would give a family member or friend the shirt off his back.
