Betty Lou Blackburn, 87, of Dublin, passed away July 1, 2024 at home with her daughter and Hospice Care. She was born in Point Pleasant, West Virginia on May 4, 1937 to the late Verna (Shepherd) Lanier and the late Wilbert C. Lanier.Also preceded her in death were 2 brothers, Eugene and Harry Hyatt. She married the Late Roscoe Blackburn on May 4, 1982; spending almost 40 years happily together. Betty is survived by her loving daughter, Mary Beth Stitt (Bobby); granddaughters, Ashley and Tabitha (Andrew); grandson, Ashton; great-grandsons, Camden and Beau.Also survived by sister-in-law, Olline Marcum; brother-in-law, Dennis Howell; and many cousins. She also leaves behind many lifelong friends. She had a way with crafts and baking wedding cakes.
