Columbus - Catherine "Cathy" Burt, 86, of Columbus, Ohio peacefully passed away at her home on March 27th, 2024. She was born in Columbus to the late Johnnie and Annie Tipton on December 17th, 1937.Cathy was a longtime employee of Columbia Gas, retiring as an Administrative Assistant to the CEO. She was especially proud to be a North High School graduate and regularly attended their July 4th alumni gatherings. Both Cathy and her husband Willis were North High graduates. Cathy was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Willis C. Burt, sister Beulah Carver, brother Harold Tipton, nephew Dale Carver, sister-in-law Dorothy Tipton and brother-in-law Lawrence Burt. Cathy is survived by her brother Calvin Tipton, nieces Brenda Granger, Abby (Mike) Hendershot and Cheryl Bush; nephews Craig (Tami) Carver, Kirby Burt, Brady (Ann) Burt, and John (Karen) Tipton, great nephew Joe (Laura) Carver and great niece Ashlee (Donny) Houck.Cathy is also survived by special friends, Shelley Graf, C
