Daniel Francis Hynes Jr. of Canal Winchester, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on June 29th, 2024. Daniel was born September 4th, 1941 in Waynesboro, Pa. Preceded in death by his parents, Thelma Louise (Wolfe) and Daniel Francis Hynes Sr. Dan graduated from St. Mary's High School in Akron, Ohio at the top of his class earning a scholarship to Case Western Reserve University. Dan then attended The University of Akron graduating with a Bachelor of Science Majoring in Mathematics - Go Zips! He was an honorary scholastic member of the Alpha Sigma Lambda Fraternity. Daniel began a long career at the PNC Bank (formerly the Akron Dime Bank) and worked 43 years as a Systems Analyst. He retired as an assistant Vice President at 59 1/2 in 2001 and Dan and Sandy moved to Myrtle Beach, SC. They spent several years living adjacent to the 16th hole at Arrowhead Country Club so he could pursue his passion for golf. Dan's love of the game was only exceeded by his love of God.
