Grove City Roger Lee Escue, age 73, of Grove City, Ohio, formerly of Albany, Ohio, passed away June 30, 2024, after a courageous seven-year battle with cancer. Born on September 24, 1950, to the late Ezra Nye Escue and late Emma Hilda Baxter Escue. Roger was married to Carol Ann Fraley for 54 years. Together, they raised five children: Travis (Stephanie), Aaron (Maryann), Alisha (Phillip Hopkins), Amber, and Caleb (Cayla). His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Brooke, Wyatt, Abby, Trent, Skylar, Bryce, Seth, Ellie, Emily, Eric, Azger, Elis, Ezra, and Ragnor. After graduating from Alexander High School in 1968, Roger pursued his passion for nature by studying forestry at Hocking Technical College. He had a love for baseball and cornhole and found joy in writing poems about everyday life.
