George W Gates, age 70, passed away peacefully at home on June 29, 2024. He was born in Columbus, OH to George Gates and Joy Newman on July 12, 1953.George is survived by his wife, Victoria Gates; Son, Jim (Angie); Three Grandchildren, Olivia, Lillian, Araceli; One Brother, Rick (Diane); Three Sisters, Rhonda Poling, Saundra Vail, and Cheryl Walker. He enjoyed sitting on his porch looking at wildlife and his beautiful garden. He loved woodworking, gardening, going to classic car shows, and his classic truck. he loved his faith and his church. He also loved cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes and The Cincinnati Reds. A special thanks goes to Dr. Bharat Patel, Dr. Pooja Lahoti, Dr. Steven Bobula, St. Anns ICU, Cardiac Unit, and Hospice.In Leu of flowers can be sent to Beechwold Christian Church and the Delaware Humane Society.
